THE NEW WINDOW-8 FOR NEW GENERATION FROM MICROSOFT

The new operating system WINDOW 8 from Microsoft is now officially launched is an upgrade version of well known popular operating system Window 7 with awesome new features.
The Window 8 operating system supports touch and type with many new inbuilt features sure get love from the youth as compare to Window 7, lets explore window 8.
The new OS launched by Microsoft has been taken as revolutionary changes in PC (personal computers) Industry. This OS is launched with a new interface and the apps store is also integrated in the OS so that the users can download application easily directly from the apps store. The Window 8 Supports usb 3.0 for faster data transfers as well as if the laptop is touch supported the experience of window 8 touch type get double.



3EDITION
Microsoft launched the three versions of Window 8 among three the Window Enterprise edition for licensing users. Those users needs volume licensing. Window 8 Enterprise edition is developed keeping in mind the system of companies/corporates. Window RT is developed for the computer and tablets which coming with ARM processor. Microsoft launched windows 8 pro version for normal/home user. Now new computers and laptops can get with window 8, and anyone can upgrade its operating system to window 8.

BOOT UP
Unlike window 7 and vista window 8 boot up time is 8 secs to 20 secs as compared to older versions take time around 37 seconds up to 1 minutes. Just like Android at first boot up have to sign in Microsoft account.
Hotmail, Skydrive and Xbox live users can directly sign in, after one time sign in users not have to sign in again for Hotmail account. This is optional if user not having Microsoft account or not want to use Microsoft account can choose other option 'Switching to Local Account'. If office 2013 is installed on PC/Laptop then the documents automatically get uploaded to the Skydrive cloud.



SECURITY OPTIONS
In this OS users can make Microsoft account password as a Account security password. If not having Microsoft account you can switch to other option for standard password. It features allow to make picture password so user can make gestures of pictures.



USER INTERFACE
The welcome screen of new OS is totally different from the old ones and user loving it too. It is based on tiles system. Like Android the full welcome screen is inbuilt, there are 20 designs of welcome screen available for users to choose what they like.



REFRESH OR RESET
Just like in mobile users can refresh or reset the OS with just one click without changing any files or loosing data. Users can use Refresh option when they need to repair OS to its default settings but if required to delete all data Reset option is available.



MULTITASKING
In this OS users can use do two types of multitasking. With Switcher gesture user can switch Apps, with one more inbuilt option SNAP that make multitasking very easy. with the help of this feature users can see user window or Apps in 1/3 or 2/3 part of the screen. Same like in last version window 7 when users move mouse cursor to opened apps or window it preview in thumbnails.

WINDOW STORE
Microsoft is going to follow OsX and apple store it launched it's own window store, from this store users can download free apps as well as paid apps too.



TASK MANAGER
The inbuilt task manager is better and different in the window 8. After launching program on device the list of active apps, background apps and windows process get opened. user can know easily which apps or process is using how much CPU and memory.

LOCK SCREEN


UEFI IN PLACE OF BIOS
In the new OS basic input output system is totally changed and this time Microsoft comes with new boot solution UNIFIED EXTENSIBLE FIRMWARE INTERFACE or UEFI, it not only process system boot improve PC performance too. And this is the reason behind this window take to boot up only 8-20 seconds. One more feature of UEFI is that it disallow to install unauthorized operating system, and its anti malware feature stop boot loader attacks. Its also provide access to repair PC via remote diagnostic and remote network.



USB 3.0
USB 3.0 is 10 times faster than USB 2.0. it makes data transfer faster as well as if user is on laptop it saves battery too by consuming less power. But OS also support USB 2.0 if 3.0 is not available.



For home users only window 8 pro is available and it can be upgraded in INR1,999.00/- only. If you bought PC this year after 2 June, 2012 then you can get upgrade for only INR 699.00/-. This is the price for users going to download it online. But if you need installation DVD then it cost you around INR 3499.00/- only.
According to Microsoft this offer is available till 31st January 2013, after that this operating system cost around 11,000/- INR.



System required is same as for window 7.
For 32 bit version processor :- 1GB RAM, 1Ghz processor, DirectX 9 graphics card, and minimum 16 GB free memory.
For 64 bit version processor :- 2GB RAM, and 20 GB free memory.
